The Traveling Plant: "Cruel of Tucuman". 17 & 18 July, 2021
Organised by Quo Artis in collaboration with the Botanical Institut of Barcelona. This is the first event of “The Traveling Plant” project, in which Artist Paula Bruna will present “Cruel of Tucuman”, an artwork/performance that reflects the ravages of our globalization on ecosystems, as well as the marked binarism and anthropocentrism that characterizes Western thought.

In the frame of Roots & Seeds XXI, Quo Artis organise “Multidisciplinary Garden Cartography BCN”. Based on round tables and transdisciplinary dialogues, we will analyse the biodiversity crisis with the intention of proposing sustainable ways of relating to nature.
Yoi Kawakubo
Yoi Kawakubo is a Spanish-born Japanese artist based in London and Tokyo. He turned to artistic practice after receiving a degree in applied neuroscience. He creates photographs, moving images and sound installations intertwined with economic, social and philosophical reflections.
