QuoArtis
The foundation

Quo Artis is an international non-profit organization that seeks to generate connections between art, science and technology, acting as a bridge between professionals in these fields.

The foundation curates, organizes and produces exhibitions, expeditions, conferences and workshops, as well as directing the production of projects on request and conducts research related to art and science

Quo Artis at Maker Art. October, 2019

In the frame of Maker Art – the artist Joaquín Fargas, will be presenting Glaciator a robot that helps to compact and crystallize the snow, delaying its thaw.

Lonneke Gordijn

Dutch artists Lonneke Gordijn (1980) and Ralph Nauta (1978) founded DRIFT in 2007.
DRIFT manifests the phenomena and hidden properties of nature with the use of technology in order to learn from the Earth’s underlying mechanisms and to re-establish our connection to it.

Maja Smrekar

Maja Smrekar‘s (SI)  work has been established in the international art and science milieu. Grounded in sculpture and contemporary arts, her practice has allowed her to lead strong collaborations in developing cross-conceptual productions that include installations.

Daniel López del Rincón

Daniel López del Rincón (ES) PhD in Art History and lecturer at the University of Barcelona. His research and teaching focuses on art from the 20th and 21st centuries, particularly on the analysis of the relationships between art, nature and science. He

Joan Foncuberta

He is a renowned conceptual photographer, as well as a writer, editor, curator and professor, who has played an important role in the consecration of Spanish photography internationally.
