Su h\u00e1bitat, un tipo de bosque en degradaci\u00f3n y regresi\u00f3n por la acci\u00f3n humana, es objeto de protecci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, su cultivo est\u00e1 recomendado por atraer a la mariposa monarca.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>La Planta Cruel es una planta invasora muy agresiva en el sur de Europa y pa\u00edses como Sud\u00e1frica o Australia. Ahoga al arbolado de bosques y cultivos, por lo que es objeto de erradicaci\u00f3n y est\u00e1 prohibida su introducci\u00f3n en el medio natural, su transporte y comercio.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>El Jazm\u00edn de Tucum\u00e1n y la Planta Cruel son la misma especie (Araujia sericifera). La dualidad de su relato, al estilo Dr. Jekyll y Mr. Hyde, inspira Cruel de Tucum\u00e1n, una instalaci\u00f3n performativa en torno a estas dos identidades radicalmente opuestas depositadas en una misma especie. Dos relatos enfrentados que reflejan los estragos de nuestra globalizaci\u00f3n en los ecosistemas, as\u00ed como el marcado binarismo y antropocentrismo que caracteriza el pensamiento occidental.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Durante este evento podr\u00e9is ver la instalaci\u00f3n de Paula Bruna, que solo estar\u00e1 expuesta en el IBB durante este d\u00eda. Asimismo, la artista explicar\u00e1 la obra y os invitar\u00e1 a dialogar con ella sobre:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Las plantas viajeras.<\/li>\n<li>La subjetividad humana a la hora de clasificarlas y atribuirles ciertas caracter\u00edsticas.<\/li>\n<li>Las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas basadas en el mundo bot\u00e1nico.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\">Se ofrecer\u00e1n refrescos herbales hechos por la artista. Su pr\u00e1ctica toma como referencia conceptos de ecolog\u00eda, econom\u00eda ecol\u00f3gica, y las teor\u00edas sobre la sostenibilidad fuerte y el decrecimiento, poniendo \u00e9nfasis en la interacci\u00f3n entre nuestra sociedad y el sistema ecol\u00f3gico donde se ubica.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-row-container\"><div class=\"vce-row
