Lucio Montecchio

Lucio Montecchio (IT): Full professor at the University of Padua, where he teaches Forest Pathology and Tree Health classes. Member of the advisory council of the Botanical Garden of the University of Padua (1575), he is the author of numerous scientific and technical publications and is a consultant to leading international institutions such as IPPC / FAO, EU, EPPO, EAC. In 2018, the Financial Times called him "The man who saves trees."
