“Sources” is an immersive exhibition that delves deeply into the pressing theme of the climate emergency, simultaneously examining its impacts on local landscapes while connecting them to global ecological narratives. Serving as a creative extension of the themes explored in Track 2 of the RE:SOURCE conference, ‘Climate Actions, Environment, and Public Humanities’ this exhibition transcends conventional artistic boundaries by interweaving visual aesthetics with sound and interaction.
During its opening event, Tatiana Kourotchkina will present the project “A Sea Change,” which harmoniously aligns with the exhibition’s core theme and which featured the artistic contribution of Robertina Šebjanič (Heard by the Deep) who is also one of the participating artists in the show.
“Sources” challenges us to rethink, reimagine and recommit to the safeguarding of our planet, inspiring us all to become catalysts for positive change in the face of the ever-pressing climate emergency.
Participating artists: Robertina Šebjanič, Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau, Claudia Robles-Angel, Luz Maria Sanchez, Frank Ekeberg, and Lena Ortega.
