In the framework of Roots & Seeds, Quo Artis will travel to Fano (IT) for a dissemination event with the multidisciplinary artist Margherita Pevere, who will undertake an educational workshop on the 30th of July 2022. In collaboration with UMANESIMO ARTIFICIALE.
Roots & Seeds comes to an end with a closing event in the newest edition of the Ars Electronica Festival, the biggest celebration of art, science in technology in the world. An international audience of artists, curators, and art-lovers will have the opportunity to get to know Roots & Seeds’ outcomes.
What is a garden? Is it the same for a scientist, for a philosopher, for a visual artist, for a gardener, for the birds nesting in the trees and bushes, for the worms and bacteria in the soil, for the plants themselves? What is a garden for you?
From September 8 to 12 . Roots & Seeds XXI Participation in Ars Electronica Festival 2021.
Organised by Quo Artis in collaboration with the Botanical Institut of Barcelona. This is the first event of “The Traveling Plant” project, in which Artist Paula Bruna will present “Cruel of Tucuman”, an artwork/performance that reflects the ravages of our globalization on ecosystems, as well as the marked binarism and anthropocentrism that characterizes Western thought.

In the frame of Roots & Seeds XXI, Quo Artis organise “Multidisciplinary Garden Cartography BCN”. Based on round tables and transdisciplinary dialogues, we will analyse the biodiversity crisis with the intention of proposing sustainable ways of relating to nature.
