Gratitude Meditation: Honoring Migrant Plants.

Venue: Museu d'Història de la Immigració de Catalunya (MHIC), Sant Adrià del Besós

Time: 11:00 - 14:00
Free with registration.

As part of the Imagining Futures cluster activities for Manifesta 15, Epicuro Lab and the MHIC  invite you to a guided meditation featuring an immersive soundscape inspired by the Besós River, created by artist Robertina Šebjanič. This multilingual meditation will focus on rapeseed, a migrant plant, and will serve as an expression of gratitude to the “working plants.”

The activity will begin with an introduction to the meditation of gratitude, accompanied by a brief explanation of the significance of working plants in our ecosystem. Epicuro Lab will then lead the session, inviting participants to reflect on the vital role these plants play in our daily lives and the sustainability of the planet.

The meditation, narrated in multiple languages with the support of AI and human voice, will be accompanied by a soundscape created by Robertina Šebjanič, inspired by the presence and importance of the Besós River, which flows near the MHIC. Finally, a space for dialogue and reflection will be opened, where participants can share their personal experiences and thoughts on the meditation.

The event is free and open to the public. However, due to space limitations, only 15 people can be accommodated.

Pre-registration is required via email at info@quoartis.org with the subject:"Meditation Plantes Obreres."
