The foundation
Quo Artis is an international nonprofit organisation dedicated to fostering linkages among the realms of art, science, technology, and ecology, serving as a conduit between professionals in these domains.
The organization curates, coordinates, and facilitates exploratory journeys, symposiums, exhibitions and educational workshops. Additionally, it oversees commissioned project development and engages in research endeavors pertaining to the intersections of art, science, and the depletion of biodiversity.
Crops Refuge: Survival in a Shifting Climate
Crop Refuge. Survival in a Shifting Climate receives funding from a Horizon Europe project called VOICE. Through artist-led interventions (ATSIs), VOICE encourages citizen engagement to tackle local and regional environmental challenges effectively.
Tilling Roots and Seeds
An international cooperation project between Ars Electronica (AT), KILOWATT (IT), University of Barcelona (ES), Institut Botà nic de Barcelona (ES) and Quo Artis (ES) as lead partner.

Marco Mezquida
Marco Mezquida shines equally as composer, pianist, improviser, accompanist and bandleader; that he is eclectic and versatile, is to name the obvious. Above all, Marco is a playful and unpredictable artist, who creates a world of his own that is at once inviting and fascinating.
Epicuro Lab Collective
With a multidisciplinary approach, Epicuro Lab is an open platform for collaborations between artists and cultural agents. It works within the field of urban ecology designing social workshops linked to the current biodiversity crisis, creating ephemeral works, and expanding knowledge about biodiversity in urban environments.
Gabino Carballo
Gabino Carballo is a landscape architect and project manager with extensive experience in the promotion of urban biodiversity, the application of nature-based solutions and the design and management of green spaces. He has worked for more than sixteen years as an in-house consultant for Barcelona City Council, where he has led the implementation of naturalisation policies and techniques in the city’s public spaces. Previously, he worked on the design of public, corporate and private gardens and landscapes, both in Spain and internationally. He is a regular guest lecturer at various academic institutions and is the author of several publications, articles and essays.
Urs Bigler
Urs Bigler is Switzerland-based photographer whose practice explores the bodily and the human and their interactions with nature and architecture.
